Yet Another Donald Trump Endeavor Zeroes in on Failure!
Why, I would never have guessed. Another of Donald Trump’s half-assed, low-brow, do-it-on-the-cheap, let-everyone-else-take-the-risk business ventures (i.e. scams) is on the edge of bankruptcy. Just like Trump University, Trump hotels, Trump steaks, Trump wines, Trump vodka, Trump mortgage, Trump casinos, Trump airline, Trump professional football teams… and Trump’s presidency… everything the Don-don touches quickly turns to crap and leaves everyone, but him, feeling and smelling like they just swam 50 laps in a cesspool.
This time it’s his ego-boosting (aren’t they all?), revenge enterprise to create an alternate Twitter (which kicked him off that platform after he staged an insurrection against America), the aptly outrageously misnamed “Truth Social,” a place where all conservatives are invited to gather to, first and foremost, praise and enrich their cult leader, then whole-throatedly join the spewing of myths, falsehoods, disinformation and distortions totally unfettered by any “woke” fact checkers.
Sure enough, there have been all the tell-tale signs we’ve come to know as the pattern of Donald Downfalls. The hubris, the over-confidence, the expectation of wild success, fanfare, great excitement, a mirage of great support, the gilded, garish grandiosity, investors signing on, contractors eager for the connection, followed by the sloppy execution, clear inferiority of the product, lack of leadership, cut-corners, swooning public trust, shafted contractors, whispers of financial peril, nervous investors and Donald, himself, backing away and losing interest, turning the torpid carcass of a once so-promising concept over to lawyers who will eventually settle with debt-holders and swindled workers (or students) for pennies on the dollar.
But all is not lost yet, As of this writing, Truth Social Lives! Republicans… YOU can save your cult’s very own social media platform by jumping onboard, and encouraging all of your fellow cultists to do likewise. But more importantly…you must buy ads on Truth Social. Buy, buy, buy, buy like there’s no tomorrow because, you know, there may not be; liberals are trying to destroy your world. Don’t have anything to sell? Buy a 30 or 60 second ad, anyway, and just gush about how great the Fraudster, er Trumpster, is. You’ll be happy you did. Sure, you’ll end up with a deal as raw as those students who paid tens of thousands of dollars to get a “degree” from Trump U. But you will have served your master and the great selfish cause of conservatism itself. So there’s that.
