You are grotesquely mistaken. First off, humans are NOT natural omnivores, much less carnivores. Nature (evolution) designed apes to eat a mostly plant diet. Our entire physiology, as well as our entire G.I. tract, are designed to procur and consume that plant-based foods. OK, a bug every once in awhile... but staples of greens, vegetables, roots, seeds, berries and nuts. When we (or other apes) deviated from that diet which we are designed for, we eventually pay a high price. We see that around the world today where the most meat-heavy human diets have the most health problems.

Hunting and killing is certainly not necessary for humans to cooperate, which existed millions of years before eating animals became a thing for humans. The greatest cooperative efforts in human history have had nothing to do with hunting or killing. Quite the opposite. Meat-eating has been proven to increase aggression... so the very opposite might more reasonably be claimed: meat-eating makes us less cooperative.

Worse, killing animals - for no truly good reason, these days - only encodes the opposite of a "pro life, " "life is sacred" psychology and sociology, making us more likely to kill each other. Proof of this is how common it is for animal abuse to to turn into human-abuse.

A future where the human family de-esclates violence against nature would in all likelihood dramatically reduce violence within and between our tribes, and certainly make for a more peaceful, as well as more sustainable society. An ethic of kindness, compassion and big brotherly protectiveness toward all of nature - especially our closest living kin, animals - is the kind of world I want to see come about as human culture continues to evolve. You, on the other hand, are all in on the incredibly brutal and violent animal-abuse "tradition," justifying it with totally unscientific and wholly immoral "reasoning."
